 Heritage Fair
On Saturday, February 25, 2006, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the 53rd Cherry Blossom Festival is pleased to present the Heritage Fair at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai'i.

Join us for a non-stop program of cultural entertainment at the bandstand, which includes koto, odori and taiko performances; appearances by the Queen Contestants and the 53rd Queen and Court; and martial arts demonstrations. Also planned are the crowd-favorite mochi pounding demonstration, with assistance from the contestants and 53rd Court, and a bon dance. For you shoppers, the fair will feature the wares of talented local artisans and entrepreneurs, which includes clothing, accessories and collectibles.

Don't worry if you get hungry while you're enjoying the stage performances or browsing through the craft booths. There'll be a variety of ono Japanese food prepared local style for you to sample. Finally and best of all, the Heritage Fair is free to the public. So, bring the whole family to enjoy the sights and sounds of our Japanese culture.
